On Tuesday, a team from Los Alamos Medical Center dropped by to deliver some good news, and a giant check, to the Los Alamos Retired and Senior Organization.
“Los Alamos Medical Center is happy to partner with the Betty Ehart Senior Center to provide this valuable, much needed service to the citizens of Los Alamos,” Whiteside said.
The funds will be used to assist transportation costs for rides, often taken by Los Alamos Retired and Senior Organization (LARSO) members, for a variety of medical appointments. The donation will be used for the White Rock Senior Center and Betty Ehart Senior Center, in Los Alamos, both of which are overseen by LARSO.
“LARSO is grateful to the Los Alamos Medical Center/Life Point Health,” said Bernadette Lauritzen, “with their mission of, Making Communities Healthier, through their Vision, Core Values and 5 Guiding Principles, we are honored to be a valued community partner.”
